Starting as a sales engineer in instrumentation and measurement in France, I chose after a few years to make a big leap in the unknown and relocated in Asia in order to create a local sales network for 01dB, a French SME specialized in acoustics and vibration instrumentation (now belonging to Areva Group).
It was a real challenge since neither the company nor I did have any experience in expatriation. The paid of was great since, nearly 8 years later we have increased dramatically the turnover locally and expanded the range of product ranges sold here
I am today in charge of our activities in the whole area, and of both our offices in China (Beijing) in Malaysia.
Along the way I of course acquired a very valuable expertise in acoustics and vibration, in management of structure and staff in Asia, of many countries sales specificities (as I traveled extensively in NE Asia, SE Asia and Oceania).
Alongside, I became fluent in English, learned basic Thai and I have been learning Mandarin (spoken/written) for over a year.

A new identity associated with a strategy. With ACOEM, the company joins in the continuity of its story and its development for more than 40 years. This new name, symbol of a common strategic vision, will carry company's values: the differentiation by the technological innovation in the service of its customers.
In continuity with the development I was in charge of steering at 01dB-Metravib, my responsibilities are now extended to being in charge of the strategy to develop ACOEM in Asia Pacific.
Since 2004, I run the operations for the company in the Asia Pacific area.
In 2007, we initiated the transfer of our Asia team from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
My main missions there were to to build up a newer and improved team to develop our global business in Asia Pacific, to manage a team composed of both European expats and local staff, and to to gear out sales development towards our most strategic markets.
In 2010, we decided to expand our activities in SE Asia, and i created a new office in Bangkok, overseeing operations in ASEAN.
During the last few years, I had the opportunity to present several technical papers in different Noise and vibration seminars throughout Asia (Korea, Taiwan, China, Indonesia, Thailand…).
Among them Internoise 2003 or the International Congress of Sound and Vibration 2007 and 2008, Internoise 2008...
2000 - 200401dB-Metravib is a company specialized in acoustics and vibration, providing products and services in 4 main fields: Environment, Industrial Design (NVH testing), Maintenance (Condition Monitoring) and Defense (area and peoples protection). 01dB-Metravib now belongs to Areva Group.
I joined 01dB in 2000 to be in charge of the Asia and Pacific area. The company was willing to develop its export network and was looking for a person ready to go and live in Asia to develop sales by developing the local sales network and over two year the turnover was increase many fold, mainly on the Environment and Universities market.
In 2002 we opened a Regional Office under my management, and launched new ranges of products (Condition monitoring and NVH).
In 2004, I was appointed Asia Pacific Director becoming involved in the company international global strategy and management.
1996 - 2000RMS is a company specialized in measurement engineering, signal processing and scientific software. I was there in charge of business development and sales.
I was as well involved in several scientific meetings of research committees debating the use of advanced signal processing for analysis of transient signals in space and automotive fields which broadened my technical expertise in these fields.
I roamed then numerous industrial sectors like energy, environment, car manufacturers, aeronautics or defense.
