Hi,

I'm Simon, a French National, and I have spent most of my life outside of France. In fact, I am, fluent in French, of course, as well as but also in Spanish and English, which I almost speak at a native level as my employers and co-workers can attest.

Because I lived in Spain, England, Thailand, China and Hong Kong, I have been able to study and learn from different cultures. To some extent, I somehow made them mine and am thus able to easily blend in new cultures.

Loving to learn, I am currently looking forward to improve my japanese skills along with thai language.

Fast and eager to learn, I am confident that I can study market trends and start improving results of a company in 3-6 months. With Inori, I was able to double turnover, within 8 months the sales went from $2 million (US) in 2009 to over $4 million (US) in 2010.

Recently I have been asked to to develop ERPs, streamline organizations, bring up sales and purchase offices in foreign lands (Hong Kong), took on the projects and achieved what was asked from me in 4 months time. I specialize in analyzing situation and providing solutions to companies that needs them in order to achieve further growth. Open minded, I can become a valuable consulting asset for any company looking forward to increase profitability or simply streamline itself in order to befit today's market needs.

I studied at the ESC Toulouse and and ESC-T Barcelona campus. I have since been focusing on the Far East for the 5 years of the Bachelor and Masterʼs degrees and specialized respectively in International Marketing and International Management as I always had my mind turned towards the far East where I now live.

My objectives as of now are to further develop my understanding of the Asian market and its needs in order to broaden the arsenal of skills I might be able to provide companies employing mefor consulting purposes or not.

My Job at Mimi Holding in the field of purchase, is meant to ensure that we have the best quality items, at the best price.
Considering the peculiar industry we are in, High Jewellery, I must show a good comprehension of the market in order to anticipate price changes but also in order to devise a clear and precise strategy that is going to be the main lead in generating cash saving on the long run for the company.

Asides from the traditional tasks of a buyer, the idea with me being here is to develop the purchase office, make it operational in a fast and efficient way, manage it and ensures its self effectiveness.

- Human Resource Management policies: Establishing Company policies and norms; Create and develop the organigram of the Company along with the Job Description of every employee and position; Redesign the company structure.
- General Management: Redesign company's strategy along with the current managerial team and owners; ensure profitability of the company through revising accounting system of the company and financials; restructuration of the stock and inventory management; establishing Quality control steps within the company in accordance to the standards of the industry;
- And finally cost control management through HRM management, inventory restructuration and Establishment of purchasing rules.

My job at Inori's is to develop a young and fast growing fashion jewelry brand and introduce it into the European and Latin American markets.

It is with that aim in mind that I am constantly and relentlessly searching for new customers, prepare marketing tools and presentations in order to catch the interests of potential Brand Distributors or Brand Licensees.

To be fair though, the most interesting part of my job has yet to come! Indeed, searching for new customers may appear to be fastidious to some, not to me, but building up customer relationship, creating marketing and advertising campaigns for both B2B and B2C markets of the jewelry industry is undoubtedly a challenge that I am eager to take on.

My job at Bischoff Gamma was to provide them with additional support in sales and marketing in order to develop the the sales channels in Continental Europe and Spanish speaking countries.

My understanding of French, Spanish and English language and culture surely helped us to create the necessary marketing tools and other product presentation in order to have greater impact on key buyers and personnel of future or existing customers.

Also my being there was temporary I spent most of my internship time there in order to develop a brand image for this company and believe, as it was also reported by my mentors and managers, that it was, if not instantly, certainly helpful in increasing the visibility of the company in the fabric industry as well as with the underwear industry.

As a bachelor student I was taken in by the Guangzhou Tianhai lace company in order to develop communication with their European customers based in Asia.

As such, my job there was mainly related to communication and marketing but also increased my knowledge of the freight forwarding business and the textile industry aimed at lingerie and intimate apparel.

I was enrolled in this company as a intern student to provide the company with fresh and outside the box kind of thinking in order to market the company and products for the South American market which they were developing at the time.

My manager at the time Mr. Dominic Smith, head of Marketing of the Cerillion Group helped me understand and master some of the skills I consider today as being key to my success at Inori's.
