LIST OF DUTIES :

HSE01 – RESPECT OF LAWS
Ensure field application of the relevant Uganda laws as per HSE methods recommendation

HSE02 – RESPONSIBILITY OF MANAGEMENT –
HSE-MS, COMMUNICATION Accountable to develop the HSE policy in Block 1 by ensuring the performance of the periodic HSE meeting / committees and communication following the decided action plans. Follow, audit the site activities in order to evaluate the personnel and contractors compliance to the HSE rules and procedures. Organize the corrective actions when necessary. Animate the application of all essential organization related to the management of risks during operations (Such as work permit) To participate to the updating of the HSE rules and procedures and their dispatch to the concerned entities. Organize the HSE communication on the Block 1 site.

HSE03 – OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITY
Set-up the relevant control in order to make sure that all activities are organized with an effective control of the potential risks Ensure that all modification, downgraded situations and derogations are implemented according to the relevant rules and specific compensatory measures Ensure that the safety materials and devices are operational and well maintained. Validates all the Work Permits issued for the Block 1 area. Ensure the analysis of all near miss and incident on site, follow-up the implementation of the actions decided. Participate to the daily Field Production morning meeting.

HSE04 – RISK EVALUATION PREVENTION AND MANAGEMENT
Participate to the job safety analysis meetings, ensure the measure decided are implemented Animate the use of the “Stop Card System” on all sites.

HSE05 – RESPECT FOR THE ENVIRONMENT
Ensure field application of the Company Environmental policy and supports others entities in their environmental obligations. Ensure the monitoring of the field operation impacts (Flaring, venting, etc..) and record the periodic performance.
